California Retired Teachers Association will meet Friday, April 8, at 10:00 a.m. at the Helen Gray Center on Whitefeather Road in Joshua Tree. An orphanage in Uganda will be the topic presented by Cheryl Erickson, who will update attendees on the building of the library in Uganda which she shared with the group two years ago. Lunch will be provided at a cost of $15 per person. Reservations are required. There is no cost to those who attend the meeting but choose not to order lunch, but seats do need to be reserved for meeting attendees. Please call Gay Smith, at 760-369-2211, no later than Monday, April 4, if you plan to attend the meeting and if you wish to purchase lunch.
