For an incredible fifth consecutive year, Sunnyvale Garden Suites Hotel in Twentynine Palms takes first place for best exterior in the large business category for their twinkle-lights-set-to-music-spectacular. Apparently word has gotten out because on the night our judges visited, as a steady stream of onlookers gathered to marvel at the display.
In the small exterior category, First Nations Home Finance takes top honors for the enchanted Christmas setting they created atop Donnell Hill in Twentynine Palms. Our judges recommend a visit, but only after dark. Affordable Rentals in Yucca Valley’s Old Town takes second place for their rooftop wonderland.
Nearby Cherie Miller and Associates takes this year’s top honors for best large business interior; Pickers Shack on the highway in Yucca Valley placed a close second.
The Copper Mountain College Business Office easily won the small interior category by transforming an otherwise dreary institutional space into a brilliantly imaginative holiday fantasy the judges described as “like being inside a music box.” Yucca Valley Dental took second place with honorable mention to Companion Animal Clinic.
In the people’s choice awards, taking first place was Copper Mountain College’s business office. Second place went to First Nation’s Home Finance. And in third place is Cherie Miller and Associates.
