We have limited information about a rescue in Joshua Tree National Park Sunday. Rescue personnel said that about 6 p.m., park rangers, Twentynine Palms Fire, and Morongo Basin Ambulance responded to a call for heat exposure at the 49 Palms Oasis. One patient was transported by Mercy Air to a nearby hospital.
