Lizards, tortoises and other reptiles will be the subject of field trip Saturday, April 9, sponsored by the Morongo Basin Historical Society. Herpetologist Robert Black will lead attendees on a field trip to look for and identify reptiles near Copper Mountain College. Carpools will leave at 8 a.m. and return about 2 p.m. The cost for the all-day session is $12 for historical society members; $16 for non-members, with a reduced cost for an afternoon-only session.
