Rep. Paul Cook (R-Yucca Valley) will host the first annual Women of Distinction Awards Ceremony on August 23 to honor women from his district. Rep. Cook is asking residents of his district to nominate deserving women who have given back to their communities. Nominations will be accepted until July 19 and can be submitted through his website at http://cook.house.gov/. Nominees must reside in California’s 8th Congressional District.
