The California Desert Coalition and the Desert Renewable Energy Conservation Plan are hosting a public meeting tomorrow, Saturday, September 7, about renewable energy projects. Representatives from federal, state, and county agencies will be on hand to hear from residents about wind turbines, solar energy, and power lines, on public and private land. The meeting will be held from 9 to 1 at the Yucca Valley Community Center.
