Ronald D. Smith passed away on October 20. He was born in Twentynine Palms in 1962, and leaves behind his mother Mary Jane Binge, sisters Debbie Mayo and Erica Clarkson, her husband Luther Shealy, brother Steve Binge and wife Karen, nieces Destiny, Kalea, Brooklyn and Ireland, and his lifelong partner Tom Upah as well as a number of friends.
Ron was born in 1962 at Twentynine Palms Hospital. He graduated from Twentynine Palms High school in 1980. He served honorably for a number of years in the Air Force, earning several medals, including 3 joint service achievement medals.
A service will be held on December 16, 2023 at Twentynine Palms Cemetery. Following the service, there will be a celebration of life potluck at 2 p.m. at Knott’s Sky Park. Please RSVP with Chelsea at 725.500.3733
