Dawn Romero, a 31 year plus resident of Joshua Tree, died on July 6, 2023.
Dawn Romero died of natural causes, she was 51 years old, and is survived by her husband, Jason, her daughter Natasha Vargas, her son Eric Turnbaugh, and her mother Sara Lewis. She was preceded in death by her step-father, Les Taylor, who was the former morning show host here on Z1077.
Dawn Romero worked in the children’s department of the Twentynine Palms Air Ground Combat Center.
The celebration of life for Dawn Romero will be held at a time and location to be determined.
