Remembering Barry Inscore

A community standout has passed away and will be greatly missed by good friends at Copper Mountain College and Theatre 29.

Barry Robert Inscore, 76, passed away November 21 after a series of medical challenges.

He was born April 19, 1948, and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. He, along with his first wife, raised six children. After a divorce, Barry met his wife, Cathy, and married her shortly after, they added seven more children.

In 2005 Cathy brought Barry to Twentynine Palms when she was offered employment at Copper Mountain College. Barry was soon introduced to community theatre at Theatre 29 and became a regular there, appearing in many shows as well as helping with building and painting sets. Cathy offered a special thanks to their Theatre 29 family for accepting and doing so much for them.

Services for Barry Inscore will be private and by invitation.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made in the name of Barry Inscore to:

  • Theatre 29
  • Copper Mountain College Foundation
  • American Red Cross
  • American Cancer Society
  • Palms and Paws Animal Shelter
