RELIEF AND RETIREMENT CEREMONIES FOR THE MARINE BASE SERGEANT MAJOR

A week after Major General Roger Turner passed the colors of the Marine Corps Air-Ground Combat Center to Major General William Jurney, the Combat Center and the Marine Air-Ground Task Force Training Command has a new sergeant major. A relief and appointment ceremony was held on the base Thursday, during which Sergeant Major Stephen Muller relinquished his duties as sergeant major of the base and training command to Sergeant Major Jason Gillespie. Following the ceremony, Sergeant Major Muller officially retired after 30 years of service to the United States Marine Corps.
