The American Cancer Society and Morongo Basin Relay for Life invite Cancer patients and survivors to celebrate their personal journey with others who have shared the experience by participating in The Survivors Lap at this year’s Relay for Life. While every cancer experience is different, there are some common threads that tie survivors together such as the strength is takes to face the challenge. This special lap kicks off the relay. Family and friends are also invited to join as the community cheers from the sidelines. The Morongo Basin Relay for Life takes place at Yucca Valley High School beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday, April 13, and continues non-stop until 9 a.m. Sunday, April 14.
