Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation. It is practiced by “laying on hands” and is based on the idea that an unseen “life force energy” flows through us and, in fact, makes us feel alive. If that sounds interesting to you or if you’d like to know more, reporter Mike Lipsitz tells us how…
If one’s “life force energy” is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy. Reiki masters Michelle Nemecheck and Stacey Clayton are offering a one-day “hands on” intensive Reiki Course levels 1 and 2 on Saturday, June 30 from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. A workbook and supplies will be provided. A certificate will be awarded up course completion. The course is $175 per person; call 760-418-5170 to register and pay a $25 deposit. A Reiki III and master course is planned. Add your name to the list so you can be scheduled. Classes will be held at Rainbow Stew on the highway in Yucca Valley.
