Fans of the fragile orchid who want to learn more might consider joining one of seven “hands-on” classes that dig deeper into this mysterious bloom. Hosted by Gubler Orchids, registration is now open for students (16 years and up) who can attend classes scheduled for October 2-3, during the 25th Annual Morongo Basin Orchid Festival.
Students will learn about the care and cultivation of orchids while they actively transplant an orchid into a 6-inch pot to take home.
Class prices range from $20-30 and space is limited to 35. All proceeds will benefit Gubler Orchids, The Orchid Society of Arizona and the Riverside San Bernardino Orchid Society.
