The San Bernardino County Elections Office will begin mailing residency confirmation postcards today to voters who have not voted or who have changed their registration in the past four years. Voters who receive these postcards should complete and return the postage-paid card to the Elections Office. Voters who are mailed residency confirmation postcards will also be moved from the County’s active voter list to its inactive voter list. Voters on the inactive list are still eligible to vote, but they will not be mailed election materials, including State and County Voter Information Guides. To return to the active voter list and continue receiving election materials, voters who receive the residency confirmation postcard should confirm or update their current address, and return the completed card to the Elections Office.
