A registered sex offender was arrested near Twentynine Palms for investigation into providing a false address to law enforcement.
A press release issued by the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department says that Hernan Orozco, 73, was under investigation when deputies served a search warrant at his registered residence in the 68000 block of Sunnslope Dr yesterday (October 24).
The Sheriff’s Department says that Orozco was not living at the address at which he was registered, but was located on a nearby property living in a trailer.
Hernan Orozco was arrested on suspicion of sex registrant violation and is being held at the West Valley Detention Center on $30,000 bail.
