Personal health and fitness are the theme of the Town of Yucca Valley’s 29th annual Healthy Hearts 5K Run and 2K Family Health Walk scheduled in conjunction with National Heart Month. Due to Covid-19 regulations, the Healthy Hearts 5K Run and 2K Walk is virtual this year. The virtual race can be run or walked at any location you choose. Run your own race, at your own pace, and time it yourself. This heart-healthy activity is open to participants of all ages and fitness levels. Victory Medals will be mailed to all who register and submit their times by February 20. In addition, each registered participant will receive a souvenir t-shirt and automatic entry into the mega prize drawing at the ParkTalk after-party celebration Saturday, February 20 at 10 a.m. via Zoom. Register online at www.yucca-valley.org at a cost of only $15 per person.
