Enjoy a day of running and splashing during the Town of Yucca Valley’s splash-dash summer fun run. The 5K run or 2K walk starts at 7 p.m. Friday, August 17, at Machris Park in Yucca Valley. Registration is $20 for those who enter by August 2, or $25 until race day. Those who register early get express check-in and a free T-shirt. Enjoy a giant water slide and kiddie pools after the race. Awards will be presented in all age divisions. Onsite registration starts at 6 p.m. Strollers and spectators are welcome.
