The classic Grubstake Days Tug-O-War is back, and it’s better than ever. The Grubstake Days organizers are searching for teams for the tug of war competition. Cash prizes of $300 and $200 will be awarded to the first- and second-place teams. There is a 1,500 pound weight limit per team. The event will be held on the carnival grounds at the corner of Highway 62 and Hilton Avenue on Saturday, May 25, with the finals continuing at 11:30 a.m. Sunday, May 26.
