A representative from Hi-Desert Water District will be the guest speaker at the Basin Wide Foundation luncheon Tuesday, May 14. The water district is in the midst of the Morongo Basin’s largest water project—a new sewer system for Yucca Valley; attendees will hear an update on the project. The meeting will be held at 11:30 a.m. at the Helen Gray Education Center on the campus of the Hi-Desert Medical Center in Joshua Tree.
