The Town of Yucca Valley’s annual Healthy Hearts 5K Run and 2K Family Health Walk is scheduled for Saturday, February 9, beginning at Essig Park on Warren Vista Avenue near Joshua Lane. The run will start at 9 a.m. sharp, rain or shine. Awards and participation certificates will be presented. Register by January 31 for a reduced registration fee of $20; early bird participants will receive a free T-shirt. Registration on February 1 or later is $25 and T-shirt availability is not guaranteed. Register online at yucca-valley.org or in person at the Yucca Valley Community Center.
