REGISTER BY TODAY FOR A YUCCA VALLEY SEWER TOUR

The Colorado River Basin Regional Water Quality Control Board will hold its quarterly meeting at the Hi-Desert Water District’s office in Yucca Valley Thursday, September 21. The board will receive an update on the status of the sewer project. The water district will also provide a free tour of its sewer project, which includes a driving and walking tour of key project areas, such as the sewer collectors. The tour is open to the public, although tour participants are responsible for their own transportation to the project areas. The meeting starts at 1:30 p.m. in the water district’s office at Inca Trail and Highway 62, with the tour following at 3 p.m. Call Mary Castaneda at 760-776-8945 by September 14 to reserve your spot on the tour.
