RED CROSS DONATION BOX STOLEN FROM STORE IN TWENTYNINE PALMS

The Sheriff’s Department is investigating the theft of a Red Cross donation box at a Twentynine Palms business. According to a Sheriff’s report, a man and a woman came into the Circle K convenience store on Adobe Road and Two Mile Road Monday night and paid for several items. When the clerk wasn’t looking, they allegedly took the Red Cross donation box on the counter, estimated to have just a few dollars inside. The Sheriff’s Department is investigating several leads.
