If you have been previously diagnosed with COVID0-19 and since recovered, your blood is in demand. COVID-19 survivors are walking around with healing properties within their bodies, known as “convalescent plasma.” This blood from patients who have recovered is badly needed for the more than 140 seriously ill COVID-19 patients now awaiting transfusions.
Convalescent plasma donors must have had no virus symptoms for at least 14 days. Just one donation can collect enough plasma with immune boosting antibodies to help several patients.
