The Joshua Tree Highlands Artist in Residency Program is holding an opening reception tomorrow. Managing Editor Tami Roleff has your invitation… For the past seven weeks, the Joshua Tree Highlands artists in residence have lived and created art in the Mojave Desert. The artists are: sculptors Robert Michael Jones and Timothy Murdoch; visual artists and sculptors Ari Elefterin and Heidi Kayser; and painter Keely Nelson-Rivers. An opening reception of their exhibition, “(Re)Formations,” will be held Saturday, July 9, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Joshua Tree Art Gallery in downtown Joshua Tree.
