The United Methodist Church of Twentynine Palms will be hosting a Reading Rally on March 15 from 2 to 4 p.m. Local teachers and church members will be reading their favorite books as well as leading songs and movement activities. This is not a religious program but a celebration of the love of reading. Each child attending will receive a free book before going home. Some of the stories to expect are Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day; Purple, Green and Yellow; and Mr. Peabody’s Apples. Join us for an afternoon of relaxed enjoyment.
