The Hi-Desert Cultural Center’s Hi-Desert Playhouse presents its final Reader’s Theater production of the season with special performances of “Heroes” to benefit the Charles J. Evered House–Artist Residency for Veterans. “Heroes” will play at the Cultural Center’s Blak Box Theater Friday and Saturday with a special gala benefit.
In “Heroes,” the story of three WWI veterans living in a nursing home for old soldiers in France in the summer of 1959 is hysterically told by the talented cast of three professional actors, Barry Cutler, Howard Shangraw, and Patrick O’Neil. “Heroes” plays May 24 and 25 at 7:30 p.m. The play is rated PG 13. Doors open one half-hour prior to the performance. Tickets range from $12 to $40.
