Reach Out Morongo Basin was recently named one of the best of the best for providing transportation services to senior residents. The National Volunteer Transportation Center is recognizing 16 outstanding volunteer transportation programs from around the country, at a transportation trade fair in Portland, Oregon, May 23-26, and will award cash prizes. Reach Out Morongo Basin will receive a $5,000 STAR Award for Quality to help with its seniors-helping-seniors transportation programs.
