The annual Parade of Homes event returns in 2022. This fundraiser for Reach Out Morongo Basin sees unique high desert homes opened up to the public, but the organizers are still seeking a few more properties. Here is reporter Jef Harmatz to tell you how to participate.
The long-running Parade of Homes allows ticket holders to take self-guided tours of some of the most beautiful, eccentric, and awe-inspiring houses in the desert on A Sunday afternoon. This year’s event, scheduled for February 20, is still looking for three more participating homes, so if you spend time in an amazing desert abode, the organizers are asking you to show it off in the name of charity. All proceeds from the event go to Reach Out Morongo Basin’s efforts to provide services and support to senior and disabled residents throughout our area.
