REACH-OUT PARADE OF HOME FEATURES SWEET ROCK RANCH

Reach Out Morongo Basin’s annual Parade of Homes is back down to six homes, after the owner of Life in the Slow Lane had to withdraw from the tour. The annual fund raiser happens Sunday, February 14, and brings in thousands of dollars to support services for area senior and disabled residents. Reach Out Morongo Basin’s Parade of Homes offers ticket holders entrée into six beautiful abodes. Today, we preview Sweet Rock Ranch in beautiful Joshua Tree. This home and surrounding hardscape offer a magical world sure to intrigue tour goers. The home of John and Deva Henson, Sweet Rock Ranch is nestled in the boulders overlooking the village on five acres of surreal landscape. Beautiful décor in the main home brings in a rustic southwestern flair with deep, rich colors that draw in the eye. Outdoor entertaining areas feature wood plank walkways, outdoor seating areas and a salt water hot tub surrounded by monolithic granite peaks. Don’t skip this one. Tickets to see Sweet Rock Ranch and the five other homes on the tour are $25. Ticket holders will also enjoy live music and lunch at the Park Rock Café in Joshua Tree.
