Reach Out Morongo Basin, the non-profit that provides services to seniors and the disabled throughout the hi-desert, is seeking volunteers to sit on their board of directors. The Board of Directors works to ensure that the organization which provides rides and services to elderly and disabled people throughout the Morongo Basin continues to deliver on their goals and serve the community.
Reach Out Morongo Basin Executive Director Robin Schlosser said that candidates from all backgrounds will be considered for the board, though experience in the financial, advertising, organizational and fundraising sectors were a plus. Candidates must be residents of the Morongo Basin and will be expected to attend monthly meetings and assist with occasional fundraising or outreach events.
