Long time Twentynine Palms resident Mary Rosenthal celebrated her 90th birthday this past week with a party and a fundraiser for Reach Out Morongo Basin. To help celebrate her nine decades of life – family and friends donated $1300 to the Neighbors-Helping-Neighbors organization in her honor.
Reach Out Twentynine says that Mrs. Rosenthal and her daughter’s Mary and Kathe made a surprise visit to the Senior Center and presented the donation jar to Reach Out Morongo Basin executive director Robin Schlosser.
Robin Schlosser: “On behalf of the staff and board we want to wish Miss Mary a wonderful 90th Birthday and many more years to come! We appreciate your generosity and know it will help many seniors right here at home. Happy Birthday Miss Mary- we love you!”
Robin reached out to Z107.7 and let us know that additional donations have come in, making the total donated $2590.
