REACH OUT MORONGO BASIN LENDING AN OPEN EAR TO HOMEBOUND SENIORS

Many seniors in the Morongo Basin are homebound, living alone, disabled, or simply don’t have friends or relatives who live nearby. To help increase socialization, Reach Out Morongo Basin volunteers are offering free calls to seniors in the community. The regular connections also help volunteers get to know seniors and recognize their need for medical attention, transportation, or referrals to other services, including delivered meals, house cleaning, and home fall-prevention aid. For more information on the program, call Reach Out Morongo Basin at 760-361-1410 or 760-369-8671
