Reach Out Morongo Basin will be hosting a transit planning workshop on unmet transportation needs for senior, disabled and low income individuals on the Morongo Basin. The workshop will be held at the Twentynine Palms Senior Center 6539 Adobe Rd in Twentynine Palms Wednesday March 9th from 1:00 to 2:30 pm. The AMMA Transit Planning is working with San Bernardino County Associated Governments to update the Area Plan on transportation needs within the Morongo Basin and throughout the County. Community participation is needed to help identify unmet transportation needs for persons with disabilities, persons of low income and older adults. It develops potential projects and strategies to meet the needs of transportation needs of agencies, organizations and consumers and could help secure federal funding to meet local needs.
