The executive director of Reach Out Morongo Basin has been invited to attend a women’s summit in Washington, D.C. in two weeks. Robin Schlosser was chosen from more than 10,000 nominees to attend the United State of Women summit June 13 through 15. Convened by the White House, the three-day event will focus on economic empowerment; health and wellness; educational opportunity; violence against women; entrepreneurship and innovation; and leadership and civic engagement. Schlosser plans to attend seminars are getting citizens involved and on caregiving in the 21st century. Schlosser has set up a fund-raising page to help raise money to pay for her trip to Washington, D.C. A link can be found in this story at z1077fm.com.
