REACH OUT COUNTY CONTRACT, ANOTHER MAC MEMBER BITES THE DUST

There are two items of Morongo Basin interest on the consent agenda for the June 16 meeting of the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors. Reach Out Morongo Basin will get approval of a 3-year contract for a total of $97,500, to provide senior supportive services. And, yet another seat is open on the Morongo Basin Municipal Advisory Council, as the seat held by Elizabeth Karmann will be declared vacant. In the two+ years of its existence, six of the original nine members of the body appointed by Supervisor James Ramos have resigned or been removed, and three people have been appointed to fill the spots. The MAC is still three members short.
