For Twentynine Palms residents facing a food shortage, Reach Out Morongo Basin will host a drive-thru food giveaway for the community on Saturday, December 18.
The event will take place at Luckie Park’s Patriotic Hall (5882 Luckie Ave), from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m., or until supplies last. Boxes containing canned goods, juice, cereals, and other items, will be available, with a limit of one box per household. Recipients must show proof of Twentynine Palms residency.
To smooth traffic flow, drivers should line up beginning at 7:30 a.m. on Luckie Ave., north of Joe Davis Rd., and enter Luckie Ave. from Two Mile Rd.
