REACH-OUT AWARDED AN MBTA GRANT

Reach Out Morongo Basin received a $20,000 transportation assistance grant Friday from Morongo Basin Transit Authority. This is the fourth year that Reach Out has received this grant from MBTA. The grant is available to local government agencies and non-profits to help with unmet transportation needs or to access or augment MBTA’s service. Reach Out executive director Robin Schlosser said, “As a small organization in the basin, we sometimes struggle to provide services, and this grant makes a world of difference.”
