Both rate and salary increases are on tap at tonight’s 6 p.m. meeting of the Bighorn-Desert View Water Agency’s board of directors. Here is reporter Mike Lipsitz with a rundown of tonight’s agenda…
The board will review four new rate structure alternatives as it prepares to present a public notice of the increase in February, conduct a hearing probably in April, and likely institute an increase beginning end of June 2021. And among other items tonight, directors will consider a five-year contract extension and seven percent salary increase for General Manager Marina West.
