Joshua Tree National Park officials have preemptively closed a road in the park ahead of today’s rain storm. Geology Tour Road and Berdoo Canyon will be closed and road crews are standing by to close other dirt roads in the park should the situation dictate.
Visitors are reminded to slow down for wet and rainy conditions and to avoid driving through running water. In addition, the Lost Horse Mine Road and trail will be closed from February 19 through 22 while park staff conduct a historic preservation project at the Lost Horse mill.
