A quilt is being raffled to benefit the Morongo Basin’s only no-kill animal shelter. Tickets for the puppy-themed quilt are $1 each, six for $5, or 30 for $20, and are available at the animal shelter located at 4646 Sun View Road in the Sun Fair area of Joshua Tree, at Mimi’s Quilt Shop in Yucca Valley, or by calling 760-366-9306. The drawing for the quilt will be held in November.
