PUBLIC’S HELP SOUGHT AFTER ARMED ROBBERY IN TWENTYNINE PALMS

Sheriff’s deputies are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect involved in an armed robbery in Twentynine Palms Sunday night. About 9:30 p.m., an unidentified man walked into the Motel 6 on Highway 62 in Twentynine Palms, pointed a handgun at the clerk and demanded money. After the clerk gave the man an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect fled on foot. The robber was described only as having a white cloth covering his head and was wearing dark-colored clothing.
