The Sheriff’s Department is asking for the public’s help in finding a stolen puppy. On December 29, a 14-year-old boy was home alone in the 58800 block of Sun Via in Joshua Tree when an unknown man entered his property and grabbed a French bulldog puppy, and left. The boy ran after the thief and demanded his puppy back. The thief claimed the puppy was his, and assaulted the boy. The suspect is described as a white man, wearing a solid black hoodie.
