Yucca Valley is holding a public outreach session Wednesday to explain a project to widen Yucca Trail between Warren Vista and Palomar, and to get input from residents. With more information about the workshop, here’s managing editor Tami Roleff… The Town of Yucca Valley plans to widen the shoulder on Yucca Trail between Warren Vista Avenue and Palomar Avenue. The project will widen traffic lanes to 12 feet in both directions, widen the shoulder by eight feet in both directions, and add left-turn pockets at intersections. In addition, Palomar/Avalon Avenues will be widened at Warren Vista and left-turn lanes will be added. The public is invited to attend a public outreach session Wednesday, August 14, starting at 6 p.m. in the Yucca Room of the Yucca Valley Community Center.
