If you have any interest in the future of Knott’s Sky Park and Pioneer Park in Twentynine Palms, consider attending a public meeting to add your two cents. Reporter Heather Clisby has the details…
On April 28, the Twentynine Palms Council authorized staff to develop master plans for Knott’s Sky Park and Pioneer Park. The council submitted grant proposals to access funds from California’s Proposition 68 Bond Act. The application for Knott’s Sky Park will be submitted this August while the Pioneer Park application is due next year.
Before the August deadline, city staff will host several public meetings at the Knott’s Sky Park picnic shelter to gather public opinion on the park’s development. The first meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 15 at 5:30 p.m.
