First, the board of directors for the Hi-Desert Water District will conduct a public hearing on an ordinance establishing rates for water service charges within the district. Next, the directors are expected to approve and adopt a new policy with changes to water service billing and disconnections for non-payment for residential water service customers. Finally, the board of directors will discuss a water bill reduction request for a customer who incurred excessive water use fees. Tonight’s regular meeting begins at 5:30 p.m. in the district offices at Inca Trail and Highway 62 in Yucca Valley.
