PUBLIC ART INSTALLATION SOUGHT FOR TWENTYNINE PALMS’ PROJECT PHOENIX

Sculptor Ricardo Breceda has several metal sculptures on the medians on National Park Drive in Twentynine Palms.

The City of Twentynine Palms plans to celebrate its downtown revitalization project, Project Phoenix, through the use of public art.

To that end, the City has extended its deadline for artists to submit proposals for a public art installation at the entrance of the Project Phoenix site. The new deadline for submissions is 5 p.m. Thursday, August 29.

Twentynine Palms artist Chuck Caplinger designed this sculpture that welcomes visitors on the east end of Twentynine Palms.
