PROWLER THREATENS ARRESTING DEPUTY

A suspected prowler was arrested early Tuesday morning in Yucca Valley. According to a Sheriff’s report, a resident in the 56100 block of Papago Trail called police about 12:45 a.m. to report that a man was outside his home. Deputies located Matthew Guerrero, 22, nearby, and arrested him on suspicion of prowling. The report states that while Guerrero was being transported to the Morongo Basin Jail, he threatened to be combative with the deputy once he was taken out of the handcuffs. Matthew Guerrero is being held without bail for violating his parole.
