Many delivery companies also allow you the chose an alternative delivery location for some orders. If you have a home surveillance system, make sure it is functioning properly, as these systems can detour would-be thieves. If a package is stolen, the footage can often be used to track down the culprit. If you are unsure of whether you will be home when your package is delivered, you may consider having a friend or neighbor collect it until you return home. Alternatively, you may want to have the packages delivered to your work. You can also have your mail held at the post office.
