Proposed Landers Hotel subject of Landers Association meeting tonight (9/23)

A planned hotel in Landers is the subject of a meeting of the Lander Association this evening (September 23).

According to documents provided by the San Bernardino Planning Commission, the proposed hotel project is located at a 5.7 acre site east of Belfield Blvd and north of Reche Road. The proposal includes a 35 unit hotel with a restaurant, food market, lodge, health club with additional infrastructure and covered parking lot. 

The project is currently proposed for a rural commercial district and within the county’s development codes. The Los Angeles and Portland-based design firm “West of West” that is proposing the project is not expected to be at tonight’s meeting.
