PROGRESS BEING MADE IN YUCCA VALLEY SENIOR HOUSING PROJECT

0

The Yucca Valley Senior Housing project is making slow but steady progress. The developer, National CORE Renaissance, has transplanted most of the Joshua trees on the site. About 20 Joshua trees have been donated and moved to a new demonstration garden at the Brehm Youth Sports Park. The demonstration garden is a project of the Hi-Desert Water District, Mojave Water Agency, and Bighorn-Desert View Water Agency. Grading of the new senior housing project is scheduled to begin in the week or two. In related news, the San Bernardino Associated Governments unanimously approved the allocation of $471,000 towards the construction of the traffic signal at Dumosa and Highway 62.
